So, just like everyone else in the whole of fandom, I've been going into paroxysms of joy over the fact that Meg is on Twitter. I have a Twitter (@herdofbots) that I never use, except to stalk the Skins cast, but I keep getting the urge to tweet things @meg_prescott, all of them completely stupid. Like, I want to send her a link to the adorable nomming baby hippo and see if she just spazzes the fuck out.

... Oh shit, the person that posted that on Cute Overload? HER NAME IS MEG. I'm pretty sure the Pope isn't moonlighting as a blogger, but LOL FOREVER.

In other news, I didn't realise what a multishipper I was until I was planning out my Skins fic for NaNoWriMo earlier today and realised that I was including:

4 pairings I actively ship and want to end happily ever after
1 pairing I used to hate but am warming towards
1 pairing I like but am only really including out of obligation
3 pairings I hate (2 canon, 1 not), and
1 pairing just for the lulz.

Solution to this ridiculous, many-sided love polygon: orgy??

Ah, so NaNoWriMo is code for your season four Au college fic to be posted in November? If so, how slutty are you making these kids? heh. I'm trying to think of four ships you want to work-and I'm only coming up with E/N. Perhaps K/E. I'm not sure canon/fanon ships you actively ship. I don't know if you ship Katie with anyone else than Emily or Effy (I'm a JJ/Katie fan, if you haven't picked up on that) I can't believe I don't know, if you've been in fandom for as long as I have *is dismayed*

If you are just going to pair these kids up willy nilly, bring on the otp to end otp...Thomas/JJ! (what?! It would totes work).

Yeah, NaNoWriMo is this writing challenge (short for National Novel Writing Month) where you write a 50k novel in November, so I'm writing the series four fic for that.

Heh, I'm making some of the kids sluttier than others; Effy, unsurprisingly, is the sluttiest. ;) I guess I don't talk that much about which pairings I ship! So, yeah, there should be some surprises - hopefully good ones, although I think some people might not be pleased with the way it turns out.

I'm keenly anticipating this- I love the way you write Naomily particularly your grasp on minor, but crucial, character traits (Naomi is droll! Emily can be brazen!) so I waiting with bated mutherflipping breath for this mammoth to be posted. However...

I am perhaps just as excited to read your take on the other characters. Skins is simultaneously so wonderful and awful. Wonderful because it gives us these fantastic characters with so much depth, and awful because they can't plot for shit. It does however give writers such as yourself huge scope to weave your mojo and create something really magical (no pressure! heh.). I just love this silly little show and almost all the characters, so I'm thrilled they'll all be there and being all fierce (well, def in Katie's case).

LOL, one question- will you destroy the good ship Freffy? (*bats eyelids hopefully*)

Ahh, pressure! ;) Honestly, I'm not sure if *I* can plot for shit, and with the high-speed nature of NaNo... we'll see what happens. It could easily end up veering off into completely unexpected/ridiculous directions. And I'm pretty sure you have me shipping JJ/Thomas now, so WHO KNOWS what will happen.
