Honestly, I'm still bitter about Steps losing out on Best Newcomer to Belle & Sebastian.

It's the Brits! I'm really only tuning in for Gaga, but whatever. Liveblog!

So many questions! Is Lily Allen miming to a "live" recording? What the fuck is up with the prams? And the military guys in pink? IDEK.

"Twenty minutes of entertainment dragged over a two-hour show." IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE IT'S TRUE. "Responsible fun"? Peter Kay sounds like Monica. "Rules help control the fun!"

FUCK YEAH, SPICE GIRLS. Oh, ouch, they could only get two of them? Don't tell me Mel C had anything better to do tonight.

Wow, I don't give a fuck about Dizzee Rascal. Are we really only ten minutes into this show?

I don't really case much about JLS, but I APPROVE OF BOYBANDS FLYING AROUND ON STRINGS. \o/ I hope they win Best Group on principle (because they're not a bunch of white guys with guitars) but I know they never will.

Ugh. FUCK OFF, FEARNE COTTON.

LOL, "Yorkshire's answer to Beyonce". So far Peter Kay's pretty good. At least he's not Russell Brand! As for Jay-Z winning, I really don't care. He doesn't seem too enthusiastic about it either. LOLLL, "Glaston-berry"

I assume they're doing the Best Album of the last 30 Years award now because it's going to be such an embarrassment. And just to give it that little bit more credibility, they've got Noddy Holder presenting. WTF. Not surprised that Oasis won, and at least it wasn't Coldplay, but wow, how underwhelming.

"I'm on fire." And Kasabian have fire on the stage. SUBTLE AND INSPIRED.

Seriously, wake me up when Gaga's on.

How has Mel B been on three times in half an hour? Seriously, it's not 1997 anymore.

Just seen that Joe McElderry fans have made #goodluckmcelderry trend on Twitter. I'm sure it won't happen - although, I think it's voted by the public? - but I think after the Rage Against the Machine debacle it'd be hilarious if he managed to get a Brit Award.

Geri, you don't get to be all "where are you now?" to Kula Shaker when you haven't had any chart success in YEARS.

Aw, JLS are all adorably excited. :D You know that if this wasn't voted for by the public, Florence and the Machine would have won.

Bangin' shoulder pads, Courtney Love.

Ellie Goulding: is she actually any good? I find this whole Critics Choice award a bit ridiculous; it's all about the music industry congratulating themselves on "predicting" someone's success, but really all they're doing is creating it.

FUCK YEAH, GAGA. \o/ That was awesome. Not the kind of massive show-stopping performance I was expecting, but awesome - and as this night's supposed to be about British music, it's probably quite good that she didn't completely overshadow everyone. Can't make Cheryl Cole look bad, y'know? ;) And unlike Geri Halliwell, I think it was cool that she didn't just do one of the hits. (And, Geri: BUY GAGA'S FUCKING ALBUM.)

I feel like I might as well stop watching at this point. Only halfway through?

Ugh, Kasabian. I feel vaguely like I ought to like them, because they're from my hometown, but... I don't. Muse should've won.

Gaga's got International Breakthrough in the bag, surely? FUCK YES. Ohh, she's all emotional! I LOVE HER SO MUCH.

Honestly, I'd rather just see Florence perform by herself. DNW Dizzee Rascal. Seriously, I might enjoy this performance if he wasn't part of it. What an awkward and bizarre pairing!

LOL WHAT PRINCE HARRY?

Gaga's got to get this one too, surely? AWESOME! And she has her teacup! ♥

I'm hoping Florence gets British Female. Oh, but Lily Allen is okay too. IDK, I quite like Lily's music, but I don't really like her all that much.

Well, I'm not even pretending to pay attention to this Jay-Z/Alicia Keys duet. Boooooring.

Oh, seriously, why is Fearne Cotton here? No one cares about this backstage stuff. And Jonathan Ross is just embarrassing.

I want Gaga to win this one even more than the others! *crosses fingers* FUCK YES!! (LOL at them using a clip from Bad Romance, which isn't even from The Fame.) PROOF THAT GAGA IS THE GREATEST THING ABOUT MUSIC RIGHT NOW, Y/Y?? Ohhh, I just want to hug her! ♥ ♥ ♥

Okay, that's quite a cool entrance, Cheryl. I approve! Shame your music is still rubbish and your husband is a douche. Please don't fight fight fight fight fight for his love. (And please learn how to mime properly.)

Oh God, I hate Alan Carr SO MUCH.

Why do I feel weirdly affectionate for JLS? I'm really happy for them, even though that's not my favourite single of the ones nominated (I probably would've gone for 'The Fear').

Tom Ford is kind of a random presenter! I'd like for Florence and the Machine to win Best Album, but I wouldn't count on it. Oh, AWESOME! Suck it, Lily Allen. I love Lungs; it's my unofficial soundtrack to Bedlam, so I'm super happy. :D Actually kind of an awesome night in terms of who won!

Okay, is it just Robbie now? Fuck that, I'm done for the night.
