Hopefully! I don't blame anyone either, but that doesn't make the wait any less stressful.

Well, there are several levels of not-shipping -- if I really despise or am squicked by a pairing, it'll probably be harder to write than something I like (though I wrote Glee's Will/Emma and -- anonymously -- Will/Tina last spring, so I'm not sure how true that is either). If I have more of an indifferent, it's-not-really-for-me-but-hey-I-get-why-people-ship-it perspective on it, trying to make myself believe it gives me an extra layer of knowledge into the fic I'm trying to write and a level of contemplative detachment that really helps with the actual writing of the thing. I tend to skip that step when I already ship the pairing (even though it would probably help if I never skipped it).
