botherd | (no subject)

So, the big Yuletide author reveal means I can finally talk about my stories. :D I wrote two; my main one was Whom You Leave Shackled By Love (Libba Bray - A Great and Terrible Beauty, Felicity/Pippa) and the Treat I wrote was lighting the fuse might result in a bang (Bend It Like Beckham, Jess/Jules). As is, I assume, the way of Yuletide, the Treat I knocked out at the last minute has over twice as many comments as the fic I spent ages over. XD But I put that down to the popularity of the fandoms rather than their relative quality, because... yeah. The Bend It Like Beckham piece is Not That Great.

For my first year, I have to say that I've had an awesome Yuletide experience. Received two great fics (thank you,

mturtle and

violetion!), wrote a fic I'm reasonably proud of and another that other people seemed to like, read a TON of great fics in fandoms I've never really touched before... AWESOME. And I can't wait to do it all over again next year. :D
