Spencer is definitely the best though - ooh I dunno, I have a soft spot for Hannah I have to say.
And yeah, I like Emily better now Maya's gone although she's still not the most fun of characters (I was also weirded out by the fact that Maya was a) Kendra and b) OLD. SERIOUSLY OLD).
I don't know of any fic I'm afraid but I do really love this show. It's just ridiculously fun and silly :D
