- I had a dream last night that I was hanging out with Lady Gaga (in a toilet stall, wtf). I was totally embarrassing myself by going on about how I can't wait for Born This Way to premiere on Friday, but that is ACTUALLY A LIE - I hate the awful, clunky, kind of racist lyrics and am worried that the song is going to suck. (I am still kind of excited though. But also nervous. And also overthinking this a ridiculous amount, wtf self.) /cool story bro

- Work is completely ridiculous at the moment. We're having a ~government minister~ (not one you'll have heard of) visit next week, so we have to prepare all this stuff and fawn over her and everything even though HER FUCKING GOVERNMENT IS GOING TO LEAVE A QUARTER OF US UNEMPLOYED BY THE END OF THE MONTH.

- I spent most of the weekend rewatching Pretty Little Liars. OH MY GOD, I LOVE THIS RIDICULOUS SHOW. It's probably my favourite thing on air at the moment, ngl. After the last episode I've really started shipping Spencer/Emily, because Emily needs an awesome girlfriend and no one is more awesome than Spencer. "I WILL DESTROY HER." ♥ Is there any fic? I feel like this show ought to have a sizeable femslash fandom but I haven't really seen anything. (Uh, not that I've really looked.)

I would totally ship Emily/Spencer if I found Emily a little more interesting. She's gotten better (for me, anyway) since the show came back from hiatus, not quite as downright boring, but I'm still kind of on the fence about her. Spencer, though. Spencer is the best. If you write Spencer fic, I'll read it, I don't even care what the pairing is, it's not like the show has even tried to build any OTPs involving her. Which, WHAT A WASTE, she needs a storyline stat. Alas, I don't think I have any recs? At least for Spencer/Emily. Spencer is depressingly underwritten in this fandom, probably because, yeah, no solid ships for her in canon.

I like Emily, but I think for a long time she was brought down by Maya, who was boring and weird. But I like that Emily stood up to Paige (who I hope they don't pair her with, solely because she has a terrible haircut) and I especially loved her when she got drunk. Spencer is definitely the best though; I have a ridiculous amount of love for her.

And yeah, I like Emily better now Maya's gone although she's still not the most fun of characters (I was also weirded out by the fact that Maya was a) Kendra and b) OLD. SERIOUSLY OLD).
I don't know of any fic I'm afraid but I do really love this show. It's just ridiculously fun and silly :D

I love Hanna too! But somehow upon rewatching Spencer became my unequivocal favourite.

Maya was SO OLD. I always felt like Bianca Lawson was trying really hard to seem sixteen and just FAILING. Emily isn't the most exciting character ever but she's adorable and so pretty and I just can't help liking her.

Ah well as long as you like Hanna (which I apparently was unable to spell :p) then all is well. I think Spencer's cool, but not the best.

And oh god like every time she smiled all I could think about was how it made her look older, which is mean because it's not like she's ancient, she's just NOT SIXTEEN.
Emily is pretty adorable though, and she's growing a backbone atm, so it makes me like her more - even if I didn't like it when she fell out with Spencer. And she should've punched that Paige girl in the FACE - you can't just go around semi-drowning people willy nilly. Unless you're the UK/US government I suppose but that's another point entirely.
