I'm going to have to rename this tag AGAIN.

OKAY SO I'm just going to pretend that Mini was only kind of a bitch to Franky at the beginning of the series instead of a heinous bully, because that's the only way I can rationalise my RIDICULOUS LOVE for her this episode. Yes, that's right: I finally enjoyed an ep of gen 3. (And predictably, it was the one where the pretty girl gets woobified. I'm so easy.)

Also, really shipping Franky/Mini after that scene they shared. Obviously this is hugely problematic considering how awful Mini was to Franky - I don't think she deserves forgiveness just because she has insecurities of her own - but I can't help it. :(

I also started to like Liv this episode (I didn't really have an opinion before) even though it was awful of her to fuck Nick. So that's three whole characters I like now! I might end up liking Matty when we see a bit more of him, so it could go all the way up to four characters, but I think I've seen enough of Nick, Rich, Alo and Grace to be pretty sure they're not going to win me over. Still, it's finally starting to grow on me.

I liked this episode a lot as well. I particularly appreciated that they didn't go and justify all her meanness with her own insecurities. She's not the nicest person by any definition, but she's complex and therefore very interesting to me. Her story arc did quite remind me of Katie in some parts, especially concerning the 'redemption'. Like you I think that she doesn't deserve forgiveness for basically bullying Frankie – even though some of her motivations have been unveiled with this ep –, the same way I always thought Katie didn't deserve forgiveness for what she did to her own sister for years. I suppose it was easier to forget or at least fully forgive this big part about Katie because we had a lot of time to dwell on it before series 4 started and when it finally did she had transformed so much it was hard to still hold a grudge.

To be honest, I'm quite surprised that I'm enjoying gen 3 so much (I also liked the first two episodes), considering JB seems to have gone through the biggest character growth of all. Or he's waiting for series 6 to bring all the nonsensical potential.

As ever, it seems we share a brain, but I just want to agree, massively with your comment about Georgia. She's been so consistently good in her writing of episodes. I really wish they'd let her write more. I don't know about you, but I'd be quite happy if she wrote everything, ha.

LOL, I thought you'd changed it to 'why do I watch Skins?' and was gutted you hated it. But I was wrong. Again.

Totally agree with all you said as always, glad you liked Liv (she reminds me of my friend so much).

So glad we got to see the other side of the cast with less Rich, Alo and Grace (I don't know if i'll be able to watch her episode) I really liked Nick, Liv and Mini, lol at Matty though :)

Finally saw it (she says, one day after it aired). LOVED IT.
That Franky/Mini scene was amazing, it's like I couldn't even remember the events of ep1.
And I also actually liked Liv in spite of what she did, and the preview with them all having fun times together makes me happy :)

Mini's sex scene with Nick was so simultaneously awkward and heartbreaking I couldn't even deal with it though. Just no.
