So, who's watching The X Factor this year? I'm hooked yet again, not that that's particularly surprising.

Oh my GOD, I cannot believe they put through Katie fucking Waissel instead of Gamu. What the fuck? Gamu = awesome. Katie = MOST PUNCHABLE X FACTOR CONTESTANT SINCE DANYL JOHNSON. I mean, even Cheryl pointed out how fucking annoying she was.

The weird thing about Katie is that she makes Storm, who any other year would be the most annoying contestant, seem much less irritating by comparison. He's still a twat, but he's more pathetic than obnoxious.

Anyway, aside from the Gamu travesty I guess I was mostly happy with the picks? At this stage I don't really care about any of them but there are a handful that I think could be pretty decent. I think Rebecca's probably my favourite, and despite myself I quite like Cher. She's really odd but IDK, there's just something likeable about her? I'm not sure she's actually all that talented, but I appreciate that she's the one contestant who actually has a fucking clue about what a popstar's supposed to be. OR MAYBE I'VE JUST BEEN MANIPULATED BY ALL THE TEARS AND EMOTIONAL MUSIC AND FAKE DRAMA.

So, who are your favourites? Do you think the finalists are better than last year's frankly quite dreadful lot?

AAAAARGH Hazel and I HATE Katie SO SO SO MUCH!!!! She's so painfully put-on and constructed and fake and IRRITATING AS ALL SHIT and her going THROUGH is the biggest travesty ever. instead of GAMU!!! I dislike Cher almost as much but at least she has some potential, whereas Katie is just haaate. I really dislike that Katie and Cher, both over-done image-heavy too-much type, who BOTH fucked up in their auditions, BOTH got through in the place of more talented and more dependable decent people. BLAH. BUT Rebecca got through so I guess as long as she is in, I can forgive the others, Rebecca is my favourite favourite in the whole show. Though I also like Matt a lot!! In fact, apart from Katie and Cher, I was pleased with all the other decisions.

Cher didn't fuck up, she had tonsilitis!! So I think she deserves a pass. IDK, I remember watching her audition with you and CRINGING and yet somehow in the past couple of days I've started to LOVE her in all her weird awkwardness. I DON'T KNOW HOW IT HAPPENED.

Ahaha, Hazel and I were SO SCEPTICAL re: the tonsils; she started off a bit wobbly but sounding healthy, just not perfect, and then was all WHEEZE WHEEZE TOUCH THROAT OMG. But that could be me being a) super cynical and b) blinded by my utter hatred of her overdone outfit, heh!

I wanted Keri to go through even though she wasn't that strong a singer because, omg, she was SO CUTE and actually had a RELAXED OUTFIT unlike every single other girl and had THE BEST HAIR EVER IN THE WORLD OMG. *_*

ARE YOU INSINUATING THAT THE X FACTOR MIGHT NOT BE 100% TRUTHFUL. HDU.

Eh, Keri was kind of cute I guess but completely unremarkable. Gamu definitely deserved to go through and TreyC probably did too, but the others all seemed kind of interchangeable to me.
