I agree with you 100% Talk about leaving the best til last! I got so bored and was falling asleep but then Cher came on and I was memorised! The others can GTFO already don't you agree?
Hahaha yes, I do agree! I mean, I think some of the others are okay but there's still SO MUCH dead weight. They could eliminate half of them tomorrow and it would only be a good thing.
I will be shocked if she doesn't win. She deserves it more than the others. I hope the press finally gets off her back.
I still don't know why they brought up the acts to 16 this year- the first show was so long and I got so so bored! I was so relieved I was watching it on delay TV because I could fast-forward over half of the acts!
IDK, I'm not expecting her to win right now but if she pulls off a few more performances like this she could be a contender. There was a lot of hate directed at her initially but she seems to be winning people round.
The wildcard thing really was the biggest waste of time ever. I heard a horrible rumour that they were going to bring in ANOTHER round of wildcards but I'm pretty sure it's not true. The X Factor producers can't be that stupid, surely.
You have a good point there who do you think will win at this point of time Matt?
WHAT why would they bring ANOTHER round of wildcards? I really hope that is a rumour or I will loose faith in X-Factor altogether. There is a thin line already!
Off topic: Do you watch Pretty Little Liars and Community?
Same here! I love them both. I give so much love to Community atm I mean it is fresh and unique and fits my sense of humour perfectly. As for this weeks episode when I saw Dean Pelton as Lady Gaga I automatically thought of you as I know you love her. I'm curious what did yo think of his costume choice- I personally thought he worked it!
As for Pretty Little Liars what's with the Hiatus on American TV shows? We don't do that here do we? I was really getting into it and then I realised we have to wait ages for the one!
I do like a lot of American TV shows though- the only 4 shows I religiously watch from here are Skins, Dr Who, Lark Rise to Candleford and Misfits!
I watch mainly American shows too. I really only watch Skins and Doctor Who from here, plus obviously cheesy stuff like The X Factor! Whereas I watch more American shows than I'd care to count.
I loved the Dean's Gaga costume! He totally worked it.
Hiatuses are the WORST. I heard that the next series of Doctor Who is going to be split into two actually, which I'm not best pleased about.
Did you ever watch This is England/ This is England 86? If so what did you think about them? I think the main reason why I liked it was because it was a show that I watched with my housemates and just watching something with people often makes it better than it seems. That's how I also got in Misfits. As for Lark Rise I have two weaknesses with that show- I love period dramas and I love Olivia Hallinan! Oh and I love the IT Crowd as well.
But there are too many different American shows that I can just mention just like that- except the obvious two that was already mentioned!

WTF? You can't be serious can you? I mean don't they do that already what with the Christmas and New Years Specials? But by doing a split series... how can they do that to us? I need my Amy Pond fix and I have been suffering from withdrawal symptoms for a while now!
You should definitely check it out I wasn't interested in it until I watched the final episode with my housemates then I backtracked to see the previous 3 episodes and then watched the movie- I really want to see it chronologically next time!
You know after reading that article I feel slightly better I mean like Moffat says we will have 2 premières and 2 finales which I guess why most programmes decide to do a Hiatus- it makes the audience less bored. I'm also looking forward to the fact the première is going to be set in Utah- I have a friend who lives there!
Sorry for making this thread so off topic as a result of my rambles by the way- I get bored easily and I also like the keep conversations flowing and this discussion has made me all excited!
Cher blew everyone out of the water tonight. She was AMAZING. Felt like it was a personal song to her, but she didn't say why. It's one of my fav songs, never thought I'd hear it on reality tv but I was blown away. That song is such a cult well loved song, and she completly smashed it. God. I love her.
She really was properly brilliant. I just watched it again on Youtube and - God, it was so good. I don't think she's the best vocalist on the show (although she can sing, she more than proved that tonight) but I love her stage presence so, so much. She really knows how to sell a song.
Indeed but I think if you give her time when her voice matures a bit she'll be even more amazing. She's got a great voice, just needs the time. I remember seeing a very brief montage of her and in one of the clips she was performing as Elphaba in Wicked so, I must admit I want to see more of this theatrical side to her. She touched upon it with the song from Annie and tonight was very understated theatrical. Do you understand what I mean?

I'm pretty sure it's just a rumour - if they had to bring anyone else in they'd really be scraping the bottom of the barrel.
I watch them both! LOVED Community this week.

It's true about the next Who series being split. On the bright side, at least there won't be such a long gap between the series and the Christmas ep.
