Never committing to anything, you don't pick up the phone when it ring ring rings

- I am so, so happy to live in the Age of Gaga.

HOW IS SHE THAT AMAZING? I've only watched it once so far but I need to watch it more just to take it all in. Also: fuck yeah, I SHIP IT.

- I hear that series five and six of Skins have been confirmed.

I can't decide! I mean, I'm sure it will be terrible. But on the other hand, can it actually get any worse? I think I'll at least watch the first episode, just because I'm a masochist.

- I see there are major finale spoilers out there. Now, I don't want to know what they are, but can anyone tell me at least if they're good or bad?

I'll be watching in order to identify which one will randomly die, like a cracked out episode of Midsommer Murders. I'll also be watching because apparently I hate myself, and enjoy putting myself through needless pain.

Me and this show are so not friends right now. I've heard the spoilers are good, but I'm genuinely not sure if anything can be good enough to allow me to fight my way out of the shit I feel we've been collectively wading through.

It looks like a lot of people in this fandom are masochists, myself included! And, a DeathWatch sounds like fun. We should take bets! Out of interest, what did the kids you teach think of the ep?

I feel like even if the finale does stuff that people want, like give Naomi and Emily a happy ending, it's just going to feel cheap and unearned. Blah.

I felt bad discussing it, because one of the Yr13s was really invested in Freddie/Effy. Like, I didn't like the guy, but randomly killing him seems a low blow, but that girl was in a state of part denial, part rage. I felt so sorry for her.

The rest of them thought it was buggering codswallop, tbh. We no longer have time for a full breakdown (exams, yo) but they couldn't get over the idea that it wasn't just a normal person to took a bat to Freds, but 'a consellor! The most rational of the rational!'
