Fuck, I love 6Music. I never used to listen to the radio because they're all full of annoying adverts or obnoxious DJs that aren't nearly as funny as they think they are, but I started listening to 6Music after I heard that they were going to get rid of it and I LOVE it. Lauren Laverne is so awesome.

Anyway, I actually opened up the update window to ask you all a question about your fic preferences. Specifically: how do you feel about fics that switch PoV between two different characters? Does it bug you? I'm not really a big fan of fics that switch PoVs, but I have a fic idea that just might demand it. :/ The problem is, the bulk of it wants to be from character A's perspective, but there are some scenes that would only really work from character B's PoV because character A isn't even involved. What to do??

Never heard of 6Music (as I open it in a new tab!)

Re switching PoVs, I'm not really a fan but that's mostly because I like the build up to the romance more so than that the actual getting together (I think I'm possibly in the minority here but I adore UST!). I find the switching of PoVs kinda gives too much away in that regard...I adore happy endings as much as the next but I would prefer one character pining away without necessarily knowing (as a reader) what the other character is feeling.

That said, like most have said, it can be (and has been!) done well so I've no doubt you'll do it well!

Ah, you make a really good point about the build-up of UST (which is also my favourite thing!) and how switching PoVs affects that, so I'll definitely have to think about how that'll work in my fic.
