(no subject)

Ugh, fucking work. Today made me want to SHOOT MYSELF IN THE FACE. There's this whole new area of work that we're moving into and I just... don't want to do it. Mainly because I SUCK at it, and while I'll probably get better, in the meantime there's going to be a period of awful awfulness and I just want it to END.

Silver lining: the more I have days like this, the more I become determined to write a book that might actually sell so I can do something with my life that I actually want to do. I have an idea that I'm really excited about, the one I think I mentioned before, and I'm planning on writing the first draft for NaNo. (I'm kind of worried about that, because usually after NaNo I hate what I've written and never want to see it again, but I think if I have a tight enough plan beforehand maybe I can make something of it.)

Is anyone else planning on doing NaNo this year? I'm super excited about it but I hardly know anyone else who does it. Seriously, it's awesome; everyone (uh, with an interest in writing) should try it.
